Cristina Ayala, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides a compassionate atmosphere to empower individuals and families to make positive changes in their lives. Cristina uses an individualized approach to promote healing for the many unique challenges that clients may face.
Cristina is a graduate of Rutgers University Clinical Social Work Program. Cristina has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which is evidence-based to help children, adolescents, and their families to overcome the many obstacles that they may face after experiencing traumatic life events.
Cristina has experience working in the homes of children with behavioral and emotional challenges. Cristina has helped the children and families that she has served to overcome obstacles during times of crisis and severe stress. Cristina also has experience working with adult psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting. Cristina has helped these individuals by promoting healing and by helping them to obtain self-sufficiency.
Cristina enjoys exercising and has participated in many different races in the tri-state area. Cristina enjoys reading and learning new things. She also enjoys traveling the world and learning about different cultures.
