Pati Boguski, MA, LPC is a licensed professional counselor and works from a psychodynamic perspective to help individuals of all ages better understand their internal world. If you are struggling with difficult life changes, anxiety, depression, marital problems, OCD, and relationship difficulties Psychodynamic Therapy can help you to build a better life. Early life experiences and coping mechanisms developed along the way help to develop how individuals interact in the present with others, solve problems, and avoid painful conflicts. The therapy relationship is a collaborative one that strives to help the patient learn more about why he does what he does and to understand and hopefully change destructive patterns that no longer serve him as perhaps they once did. Engaging in the therapy process is one of the first steps to changing your life.
Pati Boguski’s training includes the following:
She is a current psychoanalytic candidate at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia
She is trained in EMDR, and evidence-based therapy for trauma.
Pati has also completed trainings in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy in working with traumatized children.
She completed a two year Object Relations Core Program at the international psychotherapy institute in Washington DC.
