Margaret Masterton (Maggie), MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families.
Maggie’s approach to counseling is inclusive and client-centered. She meets clients with understanding and warmth and through engagement in playful, creative therapeutic approaches, she helps them work towards greater emotional heath and well-being.
Maggie graduated with a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice. She has received advanced training in child development, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Sand Play Therapy. Maggie also provides EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma.
In addition to working as a therapist at the Center for Counseling and Education (CFCE) in Marlton, Maggie also works as a school counselor for children with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
In her free time Maggie enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
