Jacquie Schriver

Jacquelyn Schriver (Jacquie) is a Therapist-Intern at CFCE. Jacquie is passionate about helping families and children delight in more satisfying relationships, as well as helping children use their natural inclinations to process complex emotions and experiences so they can lead happy and healthy lives.

Jacquie obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, New Brunswick in 2010. She will earn her Master’s of Social Work degree in December 2018 from The Catholic University of America’s School of Social Service.

Jacquie has worked for eight years with children and families from diverse populations, in their homes and in the community. Jacquie has extensive experience providing parent support and education for children with special needs. Jacquie’s approach to counseling is warmhearted, culturally-sensitive, interactive, collaborative, and down-to-earth.

In her free time, Jacquie enjoys exercising with jogging and yoga, spending time with her family and friends, music, trying new foods, exploring the outdoors with her dog, son, and husband, and practicing photography.

Jacquie is interested in integrating what she has learned about trauma-informed and creative approaches to treatment into her work with clients at CFCE.
